Alumni UCSC Brussels

The presence of UCSC Alumni in Brussels began in September 2016 with the Ludovico Necchi Association, which became part of the European Coordination of Alumni Associations, contributing to the drafting of the Italian Alumni Manifesto.
After this first experience, some meetings were organized at the headquarters of the Lombardy Region, until the formalization of the UCSC International Alumni Committee – Brussels in 2019.

Most of the former students residing in Brussels are now professionals in the European Institutions, holding different roles that reflect the heterogeneity of the University's Faculties.
Given this link, over the years, in addition to networking events dedicated to graduates, it has been possible to organize visits to the European Commission and the Parliament also aimed at students.

Among the most important events, the lecture-show "Stories of Divided Humanity: from the Great Wall of China to Banksy" by Professor Paolo Colombo at the theater of the Italian Cultural Institute, on the occasion of the Centenary of Università Cattolica in December 2022 and the event "The relevance of Culture for Security" at the residence of the Ambassador of Italy in Belgium in April 2024.

New for 2025, the coordination group with two reference Alumni to support the organization of activities in the area.
