UCSC International Alumni Committees

The presence of UCSC Alumni in Brussels began in September 2016 when the Necchi Association became part of the European Coordination of Alumni Associations, contributing to the drafting of the Italian Alumni Manifesto.
Over the years, a number of initiatives have been organised, in particular with the European institutions.

A historical cultural tradition, new economic frontiers and professional opportunities have led many Alumni to move to Asia, where today they work in different professions in every field.  Since March 2018, some local groups have been born in the cities of Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo and since 2021 also in Hong Kong.

UCSC Alumni in London was born on 6 September 2018 with the institutional event at the Embassy. Over the years, the Committee has promoted numerous networking initiatives, creating the first "Christmas Drinks Alumni Unicatt" and professional orientation initiatives such as the "Career Insights Series" project.

Following the three events in 2019, in the cities of New York, Boston and Washington and the long period of paralysis due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the UCSC International Alumni Committee – USA was presented in New York on Friday, November 12, 2021. Together with the coordination group, a number of activities have been launched aimed at former students residing in the United States.

From the first calls during the lockdown period to the first event on the opening day of Expo 2020 Dubai: since September 2021 , the UAE chapter has proposed numerous initiatives in the area such as networking events, sports activities and institutional meetings, also in collaboration with other Italian Alumni.  

The Paris chapter was born from the desire of some former students to bring together the University's Alumni present in the city. After the first calls in spring 2022, the first in-person event was organized in September. Today, the Committee is made up of a heterogeneous group of people who well represent the multidisciplinary nature of the University.

A distant destination that has grown exponentially economically in recent decades, a destination that has brought together many Italians and alumni of Università Cattolica. Since 2019, a group of graduates has been present in Singapore that has grown to the point of formalizing the UCSC  - Singapore International Alumni Committee.

The activities of the UCSC International Alumni Committee – Switzerland begin in the city of Zurich. The presentation event in November 2023 brought together more than 50 students from different faculties of the University and highlighted the need to formalize the chapter in other cities in Switzerland as well.

International destination 2024: Berlin. The UCSC International Alumni Committee was presented in the German capital, bringing together a heterogeneous group of almost 100 former students. The Alumni have shown enthusiasm in meeting fellow students and interest in building activities in the area, which can also involve current students.
